Stakeholders

The stakeholders for the ITTATC project and for E&IT accessibility are pervasive in our society.

These are the primary targets of the project, listed in alphabetical order:
  • Consumers with disabilities and their social networks
  • Disability advocacy organizations
  • E&IT industry - including consumer products and information technology software, hardware and system integrators
  • Employers of people with disabilities
  • Faculty of post-secondary educational institutions in E&IT disciplines - including computer science, human factors, industrial design, public policy, business management
  • Federal government
  • State Assistive Technology Projects
  • State officials - including Governor's office staff (particularly those responsible for policy and implementation of programs for people with disabilities), CIO office staff, legislators, writers and decision makers associated with IT and telecom systems functional requirements, procurement officers
  • Telecommunication industry - software, hardware, hard wire and wireless
  • Trainers - corporate trainers, training consultants, consumer advocate trainers
